Suspected Taliban militants lobbed mortars into a village where NATO-led troops were meeting local leaders today, killing a woman and wounding five other people, the alliance said.

The attack happened in the village of Amin Kalay in Helmand province as NATO officials and Afghan security forces met village elders, Nato said in a statement.
