At least six killed in Baghdad minibus blast

At least six people were killed and eight wounded today when a bomb tore through a minibus in a predominantly Shiite commercial district of Baghdad, Iraqi police said.

The explosion struck at noon local time in the busy commercial district of Karradah, which has been hit by several bombings in recent weeks as insurgents try to maximise the number of people killed before a planned US-security crackdown.
