Three US troops killed in Iraq fighting

Three US troops were killed in fighting in Iraq’s Anbar province west of Baghdad, the military said today.

Two soldiers and one Marine assigned to Multi-National Force – West died yesterday from wounds sustained due to enemy action in the insurgent stronghold, according to a statement.

Their identities were withheld pending notification of relatives.
