Palestinian cars 'sent to fetch PM'

Three Palestinian government cars tonight passed through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt to fetch Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh after gunmen from his Hamas group seized control of the terminal.

Witnesses saw three cars cross through the border area, despite an earlier announcement by European monitors that the border was closed.
