Hariri probe reaches 'critical stage'

The UN probe into the assassination of a former Lebanese prime minister has reached “a critical stage”, the chief investigator reported today.

The investigation has determined that a single blast from a Mitsubishi van packed with high explosives was probably detonated by a man who spent his last months in Lebanon, he said.
