Fears grow for joyride boat boy

Fears were today growing for a teenager missing at sea after capsizing in a rowing boat that he and his friend had taken for a joyride off the south coast of England.

The two 14-year-olds dialled 999 after realising they could not row the boat back to safety and were drifting out to sea in Portland Harbour, Dorset, at around 2am.

One of the boys was rescued, but Kyle Moore, from Portland, was still missing, said Superintendent Darren Curtis, of Dorset Police.
