Hunger fear over North Korea sanctions

Moves to punish North Korea over its recent nuclear test may hinder efforts to raise food donations for the impoverished communist state, the United Nations food agency warns.

International leaders moved swiftly to penalise the North for its October 9 nuclear test, passing a UN Security Council resolution aimed at cutting off the reclusive state’s access to arms and money to fund its nuclear and ballistic weapons programmes.
