89-year-old guilty of US market crash deaths

An 89-year-old man who killed 10 people and injured more than 70 when his car ploughed through a California farmers market was found guilty of 10 counts of manslaughter with gross negligence.

George Weller was not in court to hear the verdict. He is frail and in poor health and attended only the trial’s opening statements.
