Four US soldiers killed by roadside bomb in Iraq

A roadside bomb killed four US soldiers west of Baghdad, the military reported today, raising to 62 the number of US troops killed in Iraq this month.

The blast from the improvised explosive struck the soldiers' vehicle at about 6.50am (4.50am Irish Time) this morning, the military said in a brief statement.
