Suicide bomber kills eight in southern Afghanistan

A suicide bomber in a car targeted a Nato convoy in southern Afghanistan today, killing eight civilians and wounding three others.

The attack in Kandahar city also damaged two Nato and two civilian vehicles, said Abdul Wasae, a police official at the scene.
