Hussein's genocide trial resumes

Saddam Hussein’s trial for genocide against the Kurds resumed in Baghdad today, a day after the court heard testimony about prisoners being buried alive and sexual abuse of female detainees.

Saddam and his six co-defendants were present in court and represented by court-appointed lawyers.
