UN Security Council to discuss North Korean nuclear test

The Danish Foreign Ministry today said that the UN Security Council planned to meet later in the day to discuss North Korea’s claim it had conducted its first nuclear weapons test.

A senior Foreign Ministry spokesman in Copenhagen said the meeting would be held today at 3.30pm (2.30pm Irish time).
