Hammond leaves Leeds Hospital after 300mph crash

British television presenter Richard Hammond has been discharged from the specialist hospital in Leeds where he was being treated for a serious brain injury following his high-speed car crash.

The 36-year-old Top Gear presenter was filming for the new series of the show when the 300mph dragster he was driving crashed at an airfield in York just over a week ago.
