John Mark Karr, the suspect in the murder of six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, waived extradition today and agreed to be sent to Colorado.

Karr affirmed his decision in an appearance before Superior Court Commissioner James N. Bianco after the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office charged him with being a fugitive from justice.

The complaint noted Karr was charged with murder in a warrant issued on August 15 in Boulder County, Colorado.

On Sunday, Karr voluntarily accompanied a Boulder County district attorney’s investigator on a flight from Thailand to Los Angeles, where he was then held in custody.
