Israel to hand over positions to Lebanese Army

Israel plans to begin relinquishing captured positions and handing them over to the Lebanese Army tomorrow, army officials have confirmed.

The military hopes to complete the evacuation of its forces from Lebanon by next week, ending the military operation against Hezbollah guerrillas that began on July 12.
