Bush pushing for quick approval of resolution

US President George Bush today said today he recognises that Israel and Hezbollah are objecting to parts of a Mideast ceasefire resolution but said “we all recognise that the violence must stop".

He said the Untied States and its allies were pressing for a comprehensive solution that would restore Lebanon’s sovereignty and provide a lasting peace.
