Israel’s army chief was briefly treated at a Tel Aviv hospital for exhaustion and stomach complaints today, Israel TV’s Channel One reported.

Israel’s army chief was briefly treated at a Tel Aviv hospital for exhaustion and stomach complaints today, Israel TV’s Channel One reported.

The army commander, Lieutenant General Dan Halutz, spent an hour at the hospital, was examined and then released, the report said.

The military had no immediate comment.
