Iran rejects US nuclear talks offer - report
Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki today rebuffed a US proposal for direct talks on the Islamic country’s disputed nuclear program, state-run television reported.
“If they want a change in the current status they should change their mind and apply a logical behaviour toward the issues,” Mottaki was quoted as saying in Tehran.
His remarks came in response to comments by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice yesterday about holding direct talks with Iran on its nuclear programme.
