Tourist killed in ferris wheel accident

A Ferris wheel accident in the Tunisian resort city of Hammamet killed a Latvian tourist and injured six others, witnesses said today.

The Foreign Ministry in Riga identified the dead person as a 19-year-old woman and said her mother was among those injured in the Wednesday accident. Both had lived in Ireland.
