A bomb placed underneath a car exploded in eastern Baghdad today, killing at least seven people and wounding more than 20.

A bomb placed underneath a car exploded in eastern Baghdad today, killing at least seven people and wounding more than 20.

The bomb targeted a police patrol in the neighbourhood of Suleikh, said police Capt. Ali al-Obeidi. Three policemen were among those killed, and the rest civilians, he said.
