Severe storms kill 11 in the US

Severe storms have swept across the midwestern US, killing at least 11 people in three states, officials said.

In Missouri, strong winds were blamed for the deaths of at least two people. A 42-year-old man was killed when winds knocked over his mobile home near Circle City, Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner said.
