11 dead as boat capsizes in central India

Eleven people died today when a boat they were travelling on capsized in a river in central India.

The boat, apparently overcrowded, was travelling on the Waingang river in the state of Maharashtra when it overturned, local police said according to the Press Trust of India news agency.
