Court orders Milosevic widow's passport impounded
A Belgrade court has suspended an arrest warrant for Slobodan Milosevic’s widow, but also ordered her passport to be seized, leaving in doubt a Belgrade funeral for the former Yugoslav president.
The court said Mirjana Markovic “will remain free and will not be taken into custody” after her lawyers deposited a bond worth €14,240 as a guarantee she would appear in court at a hearing that has not yet been scheduled.
