Snowboarders killed in Siberian avalanche

An avalanche hit a group of snowboarders in the mountains near Siberia’s Lake Baikal, killing two and injuring four, a Russian emergency official said.

Those killed were from Switzerland and France, said a duty officer with the Emergency Situations Ministry.
