Hundreds of Palestinians attack international mission
About 300 Palestinians, some throwing stones and bottles, attacked an international observer mission in the West Bank city of Hebron today, and tried to set it on fire.
Members of the mission were inside at the time, Gunhild Forselv, a spokeswoman for the Temporary International Presence in Hebron, told The Associated Press.
More than 50 people work at the mission, which serves as a buffer between Israeli settlers and Palestinians in the volatile city.
