Explosion hits Iraqi minister's convoy in Baghdad

An explosion struck the convoy of Iraq’s higher education minister in Baghdad early today, wounding three bodyguards.

It was unclear if the minister, Shiite Sami al-Mudafar, was among the casualties, said an Interior Ministry official.
