Hospital confirms no change in Sharon's condition

Ariel Sharon showed no change in his condition today, the ninth day of his coma following a massive stroke, Hadassah hospital officials said in Jerusalem.

Doctors have begun to express concern that Sharon’s failure to wake up could bode poorly for his recovery prospects, Israeli media reported.

The hospital repeated its statement that the Israeli prime minister remains in “critical but stable” condition.
