Britain closes embassy in Jordan

Britain has closed its embassy in Jordan until further notice because of the security situation, the Foreign Office said today.

Travel advice for Britons there has also been revised to warn that terrorists “may be in the final stages of planning attacks against Westerners and places frequented by Westerners”.
