Father of murdered British woman urges killer to come forward

The father of a British university student whose body was found earlier this week on a Thai resort island today urged anyone with information on his daughter’s death to come forward.

A jet skier on Monday morning discovered the body of 21-year-old Katherine Horton, of Cardiff, still wearing an evening dress, in the sea near Lamai beach on the south-east coast of Koh Samui.

Forensics police said she had been hit on the head with a blunt object.

Her father, Ian Horton, today said he wished to return Katherine’s body to her home with “dignity and privacy” and urged the person who attacked her to come forward.
