Rain eases Sydney wildfire crises

Rain brought relief to hundreds of firefighters battling blazes north of Sydney today that destroyed three homes and forced scores of people to flee their houses.

Walls of flames 100 feet high swept through parched eucalyptus forests in the Australian Central Coast region about 38 miles north of Sydney.
