A Briton sentenced to death for starting a fire that killed his ex-girlfriend’s young daughter has asked the US Supreme Court to reconsider its decision upholding his conviction and sentence, his lawyer said today.

Kenneth Richey’s current lawyer, the Boston-based Kenneth Parsigian, said statements in the opinion issued by the Supreme Court were inconsistent with the court record, or did not consider the complete record.
