The US Supreme Court today threw out a decision that erased the conviction and death sentence of a US-British citizen in a fatal fire.

DEATH row Scot Kenny Richey is to be retried over the death of a two-year-old girl killed in an Ohio fire 19 years ago, a US prosecutor said yesterday.

Scotsman Kenneth Richey, on death row for murder in the US, has had his death sentence and conviction overturned because he received incompetent counsel at his trial.
