Swimmers evacuated as huge shark spotted off Bondi

Hundreds of swimmers were ordered out of the water after lifesavers spotted a giant shark cruising about 200 yards off Sydney’s landmark Bondi Beach.

The shark, likely a bronze whaler or tiger shark, estimated to be up to 12 feet long, was spotted last night close to where 1,500 people competed in an ocean swim last weekend.
