Cargo aircraft crashes into Afghan mountains

A cargo aircraft crashed into Afghan mountains today with 10 people on board, said a spokeswoman for Nato-led peacekeeping forces.

“All we know is that there are an unknown number of casualties, but they could be injuries, not deaths,” said Squadron Leader Annie Gibson-Sexton, a spokeswoman for Nato’s International Security Assistance Force.
