Israel reopens Gaza crossings
Israel today reopened its crossings with the Gaza Strip after closing them two days ago in a wave of violence, the army said.
Israel reopened the Erez crossing point, the main passage for people, and the Karni crossing, the main border point for goods.
On Monday Israel killed a West Bank leader of the Islamic Jihad militant group. Islamic Jihad militants in Gaza retaliated by firing rockets at an Israeli town, leading the army to shut down the crossings.
