Air traffic will likely be delayed at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport all day today after an unexploded Second World War British bomb was found in a field near the airport.

The 500-pound bomb was discovered by workers in the nearby town of Vijfhuizen, and explosives experts decided the landing strip nearest the bomb should be closed.
