Huntley must serve at least 40 years

Soham murderer Ian Huntley will not be considered for release from prison until he is nearly 70, a High Court judge ruled today.

Mr Justice Moses said Huntley must serve a minimum sentence of at least 40 years – minus the 14 months he spent on remand prior to his trial.
