An electrical engineer was jailed for six months today for making a hoax bomb call just hours after the London bombings – causing one of the busiest UK ports to be closed for more than three hours.

Ian Tebbutt, 59, of Fathoms Reach, Hayling Island, pleaded guilty at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court to the charge of making a hoax bomb call.
