Suicide bomber kills eight in Baghdad restaurant

A suicide bomber wearing a vest laden with explosives blew himself up today inside a popular Baghdad kebab restaurant, killing at least eight people, police said.

The attack took place 2.45pm local time at the Serwan restaurant, one of Baghdad’s most popular lunchtime eateries, police First Lt. Thaer Mahmoud said.
