Major al-Qaida breakthrough in Pakistan

A senior al-Qaida leader recently captured in Pakistan has given investigators vital information about the terrorist network, leading to several additional arrests, two security officials said today.

Abu Faraj al-Libbi, arrested in Pakistan on May 2, was believed to be the group’s No. 3 leader.
