Iraqi PM-designate completes draft cabinet list

After months of haggling, Iraq's Prime Minister-designate Ibrahim al-Jaafari has completed a draft cabinet list, which he is submitting to the president, a spokesman said today.

Al-Jaafari went into a meeting with President Jalal Talabani this afternoon, his spokesman, Abdul Razak al-Kadhi, told reporters.

If the list is approved by Talabani’s three-member presidential council, al-Jaafari could submit it to parliament for a vote later today.
