Iraqi commandos killed in bomb attack

A suicide car bomb blast near the city of Ramadi killed 11 Iraqi commandos, the US military said today.

The blast last night at a checkpoint on the eastern outskirts of Ramadi also injured nine Iraqi security-force members, two US Army soldiers and three civilians, according to US Marine Captain Jeffrey Pool.
