Egyptian bomber blamed for Qatar attack

An Egyptian carried out the suicide car bomb attack on a theatre in Doha, Qatar, popular with Westerners, that killed one Briton, according to to the country’s interior ministry.

Al-Jazeera television identified the suicide bomber as Omar Ahmed Abdullah, an Egyptian, and said he owned the car that exploded outside the Doha Players Theatre during a performance last night, killing one person and injuring 12 others.
