Pope to miss general audience

The Pope will miss his general audience tomorrow as he convalesces after throat surgery following his return from the hospital two days ago, Vatican officials said.

The Vatican has given no indication of John Paul’s schedule for the coming days except to confirm he will give his traditional blessing on Easter Sunday, March 27.
