India: Pilgrims killed in bus collision
At least 18 Hindu pilgrims were killed when two buses collided today in western India and one plunged into a canal, police said.
Rescuers found 18 bodies, and at least six more pilgrims were feared trapped in the bus that fell into the canal near Dakor, a town 75 miles north of Ahmadabad, the main city of Gujarat state, said A.K. Bhargava, the director-general of police.
