Sharon wins vote on Gaza pull-out plan

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s Cabinet today gave final approval to a withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and a revised route of the West Bank separation barrier.

This new route would encompass at least 6% of land claimed by the Palestinians for a state.
