The British fox-hunting ban will face its biggest test this weekend with more than 250 hunts planned across England and Wales.

The Countryside Alliance has called on hunt supporters to meet as normal, but stresses they will stay within the law.

Although hunting with dogs is now a criminal offence, exercising hounds, chasing a scent trail, and flushing out foxes are still legal.

Anti-hunt groups say they will be out looking for evidence of law-breaking.
