Spanish PM predicts EU embassies

Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero predicted today that European countries could eventually close their embassies and allow the EU to promote a unified foreign policy if member states approve the proposed constitution.

“We will undoubtedly see European embassies in the world, not ones from each country, with European diplomats and a European foreign service,” Zapatero said in Madrid
