Princes 'very happy' over wedding
Prince William and Prince Harry today said they were “very happy” at the news of their father’s engagement to Camilla Parker Bowles.
Charles’ sons issued a joint statement through Clarence House in support of the move.
William, 22, and Harry, 20, said: “We are both very happy for our father and Camilla and we wish them all the luck in the future.”
Aides said the pair were 100% behind their father and Mrs Parker Bowles’ decision to wed – a move which will provide them with a step-mother.
Charles discussed the matter with them as any family would, a senior official said.
William is in Scotland at university today, while Harry is thought to be at home at Highgrove.
