Iraq roadside bomb kills two, wounds five

A roadside bomb exploded near an American patrol in northern Iraq, killing two US soldiers and wounding five others, the US command said today.

The attack occurred last night near the city of Beiji, about 155 miles north of Baghdad. The wounded were taken to a US military hospital, a statement said.
